Why Syrians protesters are burning these flags?

Apparently, the UN wants to condemn Syria. They want to demand the Syrians comply with the UN Human Rights Council, but China and Russia may veto that resolution, so the protestors feel the Chinese and Russians are on the side of the oppressive Syrian government.
