Mixed signals from my boyfriend :(?

My boyfriend and I have had a really rough couple of months, breaking up every few weeks. All the time it is him breaking up with me, firstly it was because of family & work issues which are now all smooth sailing, and after a stupid fight a few days ago he told me that we cant be together anymore, that he doesnt want to be with me & that we should cut off all contact. but that he still really loved me and cared for me. this really hurt. he then said to me the next day through text messages "well talk over the weekend and sort it out its just always the same dramas" & then another one the following day saying we'll talk and organise something. I have absolutely no idea what he means by sort it out? does he want to be friends? or does he regret what he said? I want to be with him & sort through our troubles together. When can I call him and ask to meet ? (its now saturday)
