I need help publishing my book. I am self publishing my book which is requesting for me to embed my fonts?

I have Windows XP and I tried using Adobe's Acrobat X but it won't download saying something like my system does not comply with the software. It was their trial version. If some one knows about a software that I can download thats a trial version, please advise. This is totally holding up the publishing of my book. It has to be compliant with Windows XP please!!!
