Can I lose 50 pounds over the summer?

Hi there. Well to start off with, the average recommended daily calorie intake is anywhere between 1500 and 2000 calories a day. Anything below 1000 calories is considered starving yourself. The more you weight the quicker the weight will come off in the beginging. I would say if you cut your calorie intake, eat healthy foods, drink lots of water and workout 5 days a week you should at least be able to lose 30 pounds by Sept 5 ( the average is 10 pounds lost a month). I would say its possible if you work super hard but either way you should be able to accomplish quite a bit by then. best of luck to you
