Are Suresmile Braces Painful?

I've been offered to get suresmile wires by my ortho and told they would cut my treatment plan in half, however I've been told the pain is worse than when you first get braces on. The website says suresmile users "experience less pain because there are less wire adjustments", completely avoiding the question of how painful the actual adjustment is. So anyone who has or had suresmile wires, was it worth it?
