Upload data somewhere and use them on web?

You could upload your video to youtube and embed it in your page. I imagine you can also upload pics and videos to a photosharing site like flickr and get the links to add them to your page. I can't imagine any hosting that is so limiting that you can't add a picture to your website. You can find $5/month hosting that will give you greater capabilities at places like bluehost.com or godaddy.
